Mia Watts
Mia Watts is a Sacramento native and began singing in her church gospel choir at a very young age. She has performed in various music ensembles in the Sacramento area such as Sacramento Children’s Chorus, American River College Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, where she served as soprano section leader. She continued her choral activity through university where she was awarded Outstanding Student Achievement for her leadership in the Pacific Singers at the University of Pacific. Mia made her operatic debut as "Mrs. Coaxer" in Pacific’s production of The Beggars Opera. She was able to combine her love of music and history and graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Music in Musicology from the UOP Conservatory of Music. Since moving back to Sacramento, she is now employed as the Membership Services/Visitor Associate for the California Museum. Along with Outta The Vox, Mia also sings Soprano in the Sacramento Master Singers under direction of Dr. Ralph Hughes. She has sang with a few members of OTV for well over a decade, and is thrilled to be back in the area, singing and creating music with such incredible and talented friends. |
