Maura Tomassetti

Maura is a graduate student at Sacramento State pursuing an MA in Education, with a concentration in Behavioral Science Gender Equity Studies. She has been singing since she was a child through participation in musical theater, and church and school choirs. Maura received her undergraduate degree in Music from Willamette University in Salem Oregon.

​ Before joining Outta the Vox in Fall 2019 her most recent musical experience was as a member of her university’s vocal jazz ensemble, the Willamette Singers, and as president of the Willamette University Chamber Choir. In the little free time that she has, Maura likes to listen to some of her favorite artists, including Sara Bareilles, Janelle Monáe, and Beyoncé, and play with her two dogs.
