AsH king
Ash King (she/they) is a professional photographer with a long complicated history with music that includes: trombone, piano, flute, upright bass, arrangements, and Bisectional/Mezzo/frankenparts. Motivated by a dislike of zero period and long choreographed foot patterns, she opted to sing with friends in choir in high school over band, leaving half-learned instruments in the dust. As an alumni of Granite Bay High School’s Women’s Choir and Madrigal Singers. she sang at Carnegie Hall and performed at the Sacramento Classical Jammies at the Mondavi Center in Davis. These experiences prepared her for the time she spent at American River College in the Chamber Singers and College Choir. She has performed at such places as the Three Stages in Folsom as well as behind Andrea Bocelli in the Sacramento Opera Chorus. Her proudest moment will always be singing Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” at OTV’s Fall 2018 concert. |
